Welcome to Drift Saunas. We're thrilled to share the first floating sauna experience on the Swan River with you. These Terms & Conditions help ensure everyone has a safe, respectful, and enjoyable time. By booking with us, you agree to the following:

What do our Terms & Conditions cover?

1. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings must be made online via our website or booking system (Acuity).

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to lock in your session.

• Your booking confirms your agreement to these terms and our guest waiver.

 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• We get it — life happens and your plans can change. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your booking, we’ll issue you a credit that can be used to reschedule another available session. 

• If you cancel within 24 hours, the booking is non-refundable unless due to extreme weather or medical reasons.

• You can reschedule your session online up to 12 hours before your start time.

 

3. Running Late or No-Shows

• Your session runs for the time booked. Arriving late? You’ll still need to finish at the scheduled end time.

• No-shows are non-refundable, so please let us know if your plans change.

 

4. Safety & Guest Conduct

• All guests must sign our waiver before entering the sauna — it's part of staying safe.

• Please arrive hydrated and leave if you feel unwell at any time.

• No alcohol, drugs, or disruptive behaviour is allowed. We reserve the right to end a session without refund if safety or respect policies are breached.

• Maximum group sizes apply for your safety and comfort.

 

5. Health & Heat Use

• Saunas get hot (up to 90°C) — not everyone’s body reacts the same.

• You acknowledge you're using the sauna voluntarily and are fit to do so, or you’ve spoken to your doctor first.

• Sauna use isn’t recommended if you’re pregnant unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional.

 

6. Respect for the Environment

• No soaps, shampoos, gels or any cleaning products are allowed on the pontoon or in the water.

• Please dispose of any waste properly. Respect the Swan River, its wildlife, and fellow guests.

 

7. Weather & Operational Disruptions

• If severe weather or safety concerns arise, we may reschedule or cancel your session.

• You’ll receive a full refund or credit in those situations — your safety is our priority.

 

8. Liability

• You acknowledge that sauna use, water access, and floating pontoons come with inherent risks.

• Drift Saunas is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage where guests have not followed guidance, signage, or their own health limits.

 

9. Photos & Media

• Feel free to snap a few pics (just be mindful of other guests’ privacy).

• We may occasionally take photos or videos for promotion, but we’ll always ask first.
